Gotta say—the red and black combo just pops on camera! The build feels sturdy, a bit stiff out the box for sure. But for that iconic Jordan style at a more accessible price than some Highs? It's a solid entry point into the series. Opening this box, the 'Chicago Black Toe' inspired Mid is straight fire. That red just hits different. On feet, the break-in period is minimal - they're comfy right away. Comparing it to the OG High version, you're obviously missing some height, but the style is 95% there for a lower price. Biggest pro? Versatility. Con? Some sneakerheads will always prefer the High. But for most people, this Mid does the job perfectly. Putting these on for a full day… the break-in period is real, folks! That leather needs some time to soften up around the toebox. Once it does, the fit is secure and snug. I appreciate the Mid’s height – it offers a bit more support than a low-top, but less bulk than the High. A great middle ground, honestly. On feet, the look is just "timeless". I love how the "Jordan 1 Mid" profile works with jeans or shorts. The leather creases, yeah, but that’s part of the character. Compared to a Dunk, the toe box shape feels slightly more refined to me. It’s a simple, effective design that "always" looks good on camera.
