The blue is way nicer in person! The build feels solid, no major glue stains or anything. As a shoe in the "Jordan" series, the "Mid" is such a versatile option—easier to style for everyday than some of the high-tops, in my opinion. Got this Air Jordan 1 Mid "Shattered Backboard" inspired colorway in hand. The colors are vibrant! On foot, they're true to the original 1's DNA: a bit heavy, very structured. The ankle support from the mid-cut is noticeable. Is it worth the ~$130? If you love the design language of the Jordan series, absolutely. It's a piece of history. But if you need all-day, walk-all-over-cushion... you might be disappointed. It's a legend in lifestyle wear, not in comfort tech. Who should maybe skip it? Serious performance basketball players -- this isn't 2024 tech. Also, if you're a die-hard sneakerhead who only values the "original" High OG specs and materials, you might be disappointed. This is the more accessible, mass-friendly version of the icon. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that for 99% of people. Is it perfect? Nah. The main con is the materials can be hit or miss. Some colorways use nicer leather, others use stiffer stuff. This one's okay. Also, if you have wide feet, go up half a size for sure. The break-in period is real. But once they mold to your foot, they're great. It's a classic for a reason, even in its Mid form.
