This 'Chicago' inspired colorway pops! The build feels good, not cheap. Wearing them, they're true to size with a snug forefoot. Compared to modern Jordan models, these are flat and firm – not for long walks, in my opinion. But for looking fresh? 10/10. Definitely a closet staple. Just copped the 'Light Smoke Grey' "Air Jordan 1 Mid". The materials feel good, and the grey suede/nubuck combo adds nice texture. On foot, they're not heavy at all. One of the best things about the "Mid" is the versatility—you can dress them up or down so easily. Honestly, a great all-rounder for any sneaker rotation. Sliding my foot into this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" 'Black Gym Red', the fit is true-to-size but "snug". The leather is stiff initially – no way around it. The flat footbed is the biggest thing to note; it's not a "comfort" shoe out of the box. But man, on foot, the profile is so sharp. It's a shoe that makes an outfit. Ideal for sneakerheads who appreciate the history. I'd steer clear if you have wide feet or need a lot of cushioning. Comparing it directly to an OG High, the Air Jordan 1 Mid sacrifices a bit of that iconic look for practicality. The lack of that top ankle collar changes the profile slightly. On my foot, the fit is TTS (true to size), with a snug but not tight wrap. The toe box has enough room. It's a straightforward, no-fuss sneaker that gets the job done – style-wise.
