The "Light Smoke Grey" is fire in person! Initial thoughts? The shape is on point. When you put them on, you immediately feel that history – it's a timeless feel. However, the break-in period is real; they can feel a bit rigid at first. As a lifestyle shoe, they're perfect. But if you're looking for a modern, cushioned basketball performance shoe? This isn't it. It's all about the style and heritage with this one. Putting these on for a full day… the break-in period is real, folks! That leather needs some time to soften up around the toebox. Once it does, the fit is secure and snug. I appreciate the Mid’s height – it offers a bit more support than a low-top, but less bulk than the High. A great middle ground, honestly. So I just unboxed this new 'Hyper Royal' colorway of the "Air Jordan 1 Mid". The blue is way nicer in person! The build feels solid, no major glue stains or anything. As a shoe in the "Jordan" series, the "Mid" is such a versatile option—easier to style for everyday than some of the high-tops, in my opinion.
