Also, if you're a die-hard sneakerhead who only values the "original" High OG specs and materials, you might be disappointed. This is the more accessible, mass-friendly version of the icon. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that for 99% of people. Slipping these on… okay. The fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar & laces give a snug, secure wrap — classic AJ1 feeling. Now, let’s be real: the "Air Jordan 1 Mid" isn’t known for plush cushioning. It’s a firm ride (that’s just how it is). It’s not heavy, though — easy to wear all day. If you want clouds underfoot, this ain’t it. But for style & support? It delivers.
