The main con is the materials can be hit or miss. Some colorways use nicer leather, others use stiffer stuff. This one's okay. Also, if you have wide feet, go up half a size for sure. The break-in period is real. But once they mold to your foot, they're great. It's a classic for a reason, even in its Mid form. Quality check? For this price segment, it's good. Stitching is clean on my pair. The metallic leather is smooth. It's not a luxury leather, but it's durable. Compared to some recent "Jordan" releases, the consistency on Mids seems pretty solid. No major complaints here for $120 USD. Just got this "Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Ice Blue'" in. The color pops! In terms of craftsmanship, everything looks clean—no glue stains I can see. Wearing them, the ankle support is less than a High, which could be a "pro or con" depending on your preference. They feel lighter, which I like. Honestly, if you're looking for a statement sneaker in the Jordan series that won't break the bank, this Mid delivers. Not for performance basketball, obviously.
