It’s a comfortable, broken-in feel from the jump, which is a huge plus for daily wear. Comparing it directly to a Jordan 1 High OG... the main difference is obvious: the collar height. The Mid cuts off just above the ankle bone. For me, it actually makes putting them on a bit easier. Some purists will always prefer the High's look, but for lifestyle wear, this Air Jordan 1 Mid is often more practical (and sometimes more affordable). On feet now, and the initial feel is... exactly what you expect from an AJ1. It's firm, not plush. The ankle collar on this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" is lower than the Highs, so you get a bit more mobility, which I actually prefer for all-day wear. The lockdown? Solid. No heel slippage for me. It’s a straightforward, reliable fit. So I just unboxed this new 'Hyper Royal' colorway of the "Air Jordan 1 Mid". The blue is way nicer in person! The build feels solid, no major glue stains or anything. As a shoe in the "Jordan" series, the "Mid" is such a versatile option—easier to style for everyday than some of the high-tops, in my opinion.
