Air jordan 1 mid : Quality check? For this price segment, it's good [d64wpazp]

Stitching is clean on my pair. The metallic leather is smooth. It's not a luxury leather, but it's durable. Compared to some recent "Jordan" releases, the consistency on Mids seems pretty solid. No major complaints here for $120 USD. Just got this "Air Jordan 1 Mid 'Ice Blue'" in. The color pops! In terms of craftsmanship, everything looks clean—no glue stains I can see. Wearing them, the ankle support is less than a High, which could be a "pro or con" depending on your preference. They feel lighter, which I like. Honestly, if you're looking for a statement sneaker in the Jordan series that won't break the bank, this Mid delivers. Not for performance basketball, obviously. Sliding my foot into this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" 'Black Gym Red', the fit is true-to-size but "snug". The leather is stiff initially – no way around it. The flat footbed is the biggest thing to note; it's not a "comfort" shoe out of the box. But man, on foot, the profile is so sharp. It's a shoe that makes an outfit. Ideal for sneakerheads who appreciate the history. I'd steer clear if you have wide feet or need a lot of cushioning. Comparing it directly to a Jordan 1 High OG... the main difference is obvious: the collar height. The Mid cuts off just above the ankle bone. For me, it actually makes putting them on a bit easier. Some purists will always prefer the High's look, but for lifestyle wear, this Air Jordan 1 Mid is often more practical (and sometimes more affordable).
