Cop for style, skip for cushion. So I just unboxed this new 'Hyper Royal' colorway of the "Air Jordan 1 Mid". The blue is way nicer in person! The build feels solid, no major glue stains or anything. As a shoe in the "Jordan" series, the "Mid" is such a versatile option—easier to style for everyday than some of the high-tops, in my opinion. How do they look on camera / in person? Honestly, the metallic finish pops "really" well under good lighting. It's a versatile color-blocking. Compared to some other "Jordan" releases, this "Mid" is much easier to get and style. A major "pro" is its wardrobe flexibility - jeans, shorts, it works with everything. Is it worth the money? At "$125 USD", I’d say… yes, for the right person. You're paying for the iconic design and brand legacy of the "Jordan series". You're "not" paying for advanced cushioning. For a style-focused shoe that’s built well, it’s fair. I’d avoid paying huge resale, though. Grab a colorway you love at retail. Not for performance basketball, obviously, but for a lifestyle staple? Solid choice.
