You're buying these for the look and the legacy, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. On feet now, and the initial feel is... exactly what you expect from an AJ1. It's firm, not plush. The ankle collar on this "Air Jordan 1 Mid" is lower than the Highs, so you get a bit more mobility, which I actually prefer for all-day wear. The lockdown? Solid. No heel slippage for me.
