Now, a potential con: the comfort. If you're used to React foam or Air Max, the Air Jordan 1 Red will feel flat and stiff. It's not for long days of walking, in my honest opinion. Also, the red can be a lot for some people's style – it's not a subtle shoe. You have to be okay with drawing some attention. On foot, the silhouette is just iconic, no other way to say it. The high-top design gives great ankle support for casual wear. The main "advantage" of this air jordan 1 red? Versatility. That bold red pairs surprisingly well with jeans, shorts, even some techwear pants. It’s a head-turner & looks great on camera. A true classic in the Jordan series. Putting these Air Jordan 1 Red shoes on – the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives that classic, secure feel – the lockdown is good. They're definitely not the lightest sneaker, I mean, you feel the build. But the break-in period wasn't too bad – after a couple of wears, they molded to my foot. It's that familiar AJ1 experience.
