However, the break-in period is "real"—your feet will feel it for the first few wears! The weight is reasonable, not too heavy. If you're new to the Jordan 1, know that they're more about form than plush function. It's a classic for a reason, though. Comparing it to my other Jordans... the comfort level is similar to most retro 1s. It's definitely firmer than, say, a Jordan 3 or 4 with their Air units.
