The lockdown & ankle support are "top-tier". It's a "secure", structured fit that makes you feel planted. If you're used to ultra-boost or React, this will feel "very" different, just a heads-up. On feet, the visual impact is unreal. That high-top profile is just timeless. I've worn other, newer Jordans with better tech, but none have the same "instant" style recognition as the AJ1.
