Air jordan 1 unc reimagined : Comparing these to my older UNC Jordan 1s? It's a noticeable upgrade in materials - hands down [s979hgrv]

The leather is much more plush & less stiff out of the box. The shape also feels a bit more refined. If you missed out on previous versions, this "Reimagined" treatment is probably the best one to get... if you can. Comparing it to the 2015 UNC release, this "Reimagined" version is a clear upgrade in materials. The old one felt more plasticky. This one has depth. Is it worth the current resale price? For me, personally? At retail, absolutely. But if you’re paying a huge mark-up, maybe consider if that vintage look is a must-have for you. Sliding these on, the fit is true to size for me. The comfort is standard for a Jordan 1 — don't expect Boost-like softness, but it's that familiar, solid feel. The padded collar locks your ankle in nicely. Honestly, wearing the Air Jordan 1 UNC Reimagined just feels classic. For $180, you're paying for the legacy and the look, more than groundbreaking comfort. On feet now, and I gotta say – it's a standard Jordan 1 feel, which means it's "not" a modern, cushioned sneaker. The break-in is real, folks. They're a bit stiff out of the box? But the leather is so soft, it should mold quickly. The fit is TTS for me. That iconic UNC blue really pops against the white... it's a colorway that honestly looks even better in person than in photos. Classic for a reason.
