It's not too loud, but it definitely gets noticed. The contrast is amazing for photos. I've worn them a few times and they pair with "so" much – jeans, shorts, you name it. This AJ1 is probably one of the most versatile colorways I've picked up recently. On-foot, I have to say, the "Air Jordan 1 "University Blue"" might be one of the most versatile colorways in a while. It's not as loud as some Chicagos, but way more interesting than an all-black pair. The blue is deep but not navy, so it pairs with "so" much. Honestly, for a sneakerhead's collection, this is a solid 9/10 for sheer wearability. Alright, opening the box, this "Air Jordan 1 University Blue" colorway is instantly clean. The white leather panels are actually pretty decent, and that "University Blue" hits "perfectly". For $180, the materials feel solid. First impression? It's a classic "Jordan" silhouette done right in a fresh, wearable color. You can't go wrong. Comparing it to my other 1s, the materials are pretty standard for a modern GR (General Release). Don't expect 1985 quality, but it's perfectly fine for the $180 USD tag. The advantage is that this colorway is arguably one of the best non-OG looks they've released in years. It just works.
