It can be stiff at first, and it "will" crease. It's just the nature of the material. Also, if you have a really wide foot, the fit might feel a bit narrow initially. It's not a deal-breaker, but it's something to be aware of with this particular Jordan series model. Comparing it to other 11s, this "285" is up there with the greats. It’s cleaner than a "Concord" for some, less flashy than a "Gamma Blue." It holds its own. Against a Jordan 1? Totally different world—more tech, more structure. For $225, you’re getting one of the most complete packages in the entire Jordan series, in my opinion. Conversely, who might want to "skip" it? If you need maximum comfort or a super-light shoe, look elsewhere. If you only buy the most iconic, OG Jordan colorways, this might feel like a "side story." Also, if you live in a super wet or muddy area, that light outsole and suede might cause you constant anxiety. It's not a beater shoe, for sure. So, would I recommend copping? If you've been eyeing it, "yes". It's one of the best non-OG AJ11 releases in a while. Just know what you're getting: a premium, crease-prone, style-forward classic. It's not for beating up, it's for appreciating. As a fan of the line, this "285 release" gets a big thumbs up from me. Solid job, Jordan Brand.
