If you need a purely performance basketball shoe in 2024, look elsewhere. If you're on a tight budget, $225 is a lot. Also, if you hate maintaining patent leather, the upkeep might annoy you. It's a lifestyle piece first. For me, the design & comfort make it worth it, but that's my personal take. Just unboxed the Air Jordan 11 Retro '285 Release', and wow, the presentation is clean. The mix of that deep Varsity Royal with the classic black patent leather? It's a sharp, timeless look – instantly recognisable as an iconic Jordan silhouette.
