It's more vibrant than the 'Cool Grey' but less contrast-heavy than the 'Bred'. It's its own thing - a summer-ready, clean white shoe with personality. For $225, it's priced like every other Retro 11, so you're paying for the legacy and the look, which I think is fair. Who is this for? Sneakerheads who love bold, classic "Jordan" series retros. It’s for collectors of 11s or anyone who missed out on other red-accented colorways. Perfect for casual wear where style is the #1 priority. Who is it NOT for? Folks wanting an ultra-comfortable, all-day walking shoe—or players looking for serious on-court performance. This is a lifestyle piece, first and foremost. Now, a potential con for some: that high-gloss patent leather. It "can" crease over time, and some folks prefer a nubuck or suede look. Also, at $225, it's a significant investment. If you're looking for a pure performance basketball shoe in 2024, there are more modern—and lighter—options than this retro. On camera and in natural light, this colorway really pops. The white mesh and patent leather reflect light beautifully. I think the "Air Jordan 11 'Cherry'" might be one of the most versatile 11s for actual wear – it goes with jeans, shorts, you name it. Compared to my Concords, it's less stark and maybe a bit more playful? Just a fantastic, wearable design.
