On some feet, that stiff patent leather around the toe box can cause discomfort or creasing anxiety – it's just the nature of the material. If you prefer a super soft, flexible toe box from day one, the AJ11 design might require a short break-in period. Comparing it to my other 11s, the "Cherry" holds its own. The quality is consistent with recent retros. It doesn't have the "cool factor" of an OG colorway, but it brings its own fun energy. It’s a celebratory shoe. If you’re on the fence, seeing them in person might just sell you. Sizing & comfort on the AJ11 Cherry is on point – true to size, great for all-day wear. Comparing it to something like a Jordan 1? Completely different world – way more cushioning. The downside? That beautiful red patent leather can crease. It's part of the charm, but if you're super nit-picky about keeping shoes pristine, it's something to consider. On camera and in natural light, this colorway really pops. The white mesh and patent leather reflect light beautifully. I think the "Air Jordan 11 'Cherry'" might be one of the most versatile 11s for actual wear – it goes with jeans, shorts, you name it. Compared to my Concords, it's less stark and maybe a bit more playful? Just a fantastic, wearable design.
