Performance is solid, but the "real win" is bringing sneaker culture to the pitch. At $180, it’s a premium price, but you're paying for the Jordan brand & that unique design. Not your everyday cleat, for sure. After a few wears, I appreciate the thought behind this "release". It's a proper cleat first, with a Jordan soul. The outsole provides excellent grip on firm ground. The con? The fit is quite narrow and structured; wide-footers beware. Compared to the AJ IX cleats, these feel more modern and performance-oriented. Ultimately, they're for the player who views their kit as part of their identity. Not for the "gear doesn't matter" crowd. On-foot, the lockdown is insane. The lacing system and that inner sleeve really hug your foot. You feel secure, which is crucial for cuts and sprints. However, they are "not" lightweight. Compared to modern speed-focused cleats, these have some heft. It’s a trade-off: you get that iconic AJ11 look and structure, but maybe not that barefoot-feel speed. Conversely, who should skip them? Pure speed demons wanting the lightest possible option, or players with wider feet who need more room. Also, if you're new to cleats and want a more forgiving, versatile fit... maybe start elsewhere. This is a specialized tool for a specific player.
