Air jordan 11 cmft low : Just got these in the 'Black' colorway [mhmhp5ty]

Initial thoughts? Super light out of the box. The padded collar is a huge upgrade for daily wear. Comparing it to my regular AJ11 Lows? The "air jordan 11 cmft low" sacrifices some structure for, well, comfort. Great for all-day use, but not for serious ball. If you want a true retro experience, look elsewhere. Comparing it directly to my Retro "Air Jordan 11 Low"? It's a different beast. The CMFT Low is noticeably lighter and the upper has way more give. The trade-off is you lose that iconic, rigid support and the "pop" of the patent leather mudguard. It's not better or worse - it's just built for a different purpose: pure, easy comfort over court-ready aesthetics. Think lifestyle vs. performance heritage. Here's the real talk. The "pro" of this shoe is all-day comfort. The soft foam, the breathable upper—it's easy to wear. A major "con"? Purists will hate the altered silhouette. The patent leather is lower quality, & the overall vibe is less "heritage," more "mall shoe." The "Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low" isn't trying to be a grail, & that's okay. After testing these, I'd recommend the air jordan 11 cmft low to two types of people: First, daily commuters or travelers who want all-day comfort with sneaker cred. Second, older collectors whose feet can't handle stiff retro builds anymore. I wouldn't recommend them to hardcore restoration fans or players needing court support. For its purpose - a lifestyle shoe - it executes really well. The 'Midnight Navy' version is probably my favorite.
