The simplified design lacks the drama and craftsmanship of the originals. Also, that super soft build means less lateral support - I wouldn't recommend these for actual basketball. They're lifestyle shoes through and through. That's the key thing to understand before you buy. Yo, what's up everyone? Just got the "Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low" in the "Black Cement" colorway in hand. First off — the box is standard, but pulling these out? The shape is "immediately" recognizable as an 11, but the lack of a high collar is striking. For $160 USD, the materials feel good — solid leather overlays and that classic mesh. A great start to this Jordan Series release. Who should maybe skip it? Hardcore sneakerheads who value authentic detailing & materials above all else. This isn't that. Also, if you need serious court support or that locked-in basketball feel, look at the regular retros. The "Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low" sacrifices some structure for its plush ride, which isn't for everyone. On-feet, this 'University Blue' colorway just "pops". The low-top design really lets the colors shine. It’s a summer-ready look for sure. Comparing it to my other Jordan lows, the 11 CMFT Low has a much more premium, detailed construction. That midsole silhouette is pure class. A definite win for casual style, but maybe a bit flashy for super-minimalist wardrobes.
