On some colorways, that patent leather mudguard can feel a bit... plasticky compared to the OG. It's a cost-saving measure for that $150 price tag. Also, true sneakerheads might miss the full-grain leather and structured feel. It's not a "cheap" shoe, but you feel where compromises were made for comfort and cost. Comparing it directly to my Retro "Air Jordan 11 Low"? It's a different beast. The CMFT Low is noticeably lighter and the upper has way more give. The trade-off is you lose that iconic, rigid support and the "pop" of the patent leather mudguard. It's not better or worse - it's just built for a different purpose: pure, easy comfort over court-ready aesthetics. Think lifestyle vs. performance heritage. Major PRO here: the "comfort level is insane". That plush collar around the ankle? Amazing. The soft midsole? Perfect for walking, standing, casual wear. It’s the biggest selling point. However, a CON: the toe box material is pretty thin. I can see it creasing easily, and I'm not sure about long-term durability if you're really rough on your kicks. Just being real with you! In summary: The "Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low" is a great "summer shoe". Great comfort, clean looks, and that Jordan 11 DNA in a more relaxed package. Don't expect the original—appreciate it for what it is: a top-tier "comfort-focused" lifestyle sneaker. Would I recommend it? For the right person, absolutely. Go try a pair on if you can!
