It's a great summer shoe. However, hardcore Jordan 11 fans might miss the "stiffness" and structured feel of the OG. This is a "modernized, relaxed" take. For $160, you're getting a comfy, good-looking sneaker, but not a "performance" basketball silhouette. On foot, the difference is immediate. The 'CMFT' tag isn't just for show—these are "noticeably" softer than a retro AJ11. The cushioning is plush for all-day wear. However, don't expect the same court-ready feel or that iconic Carbon Fiber shank plate. It's a lifestyle shoe through and through. If you want pure comfort in a Jordan 11 low profile, this is it. Comparing it directly to my regular AJ11 Lows? The "Air Jordan 11 CMFT Low" is its own thing. It's lighter, the patent leather is replaced, and the overall profile is less rigid. You lose that 'tank-like' feel of the OG for way more flexibility & softness. It's not better or worse, just a different purpose: pure, easy comfort versus that classic, structured basketball silhouette. On foot now, and the "CMFT" name is no joke. The main difference from a retro 11? The lack of that stiff carbon fiber shank plate. My initial step-in feel is... well, "plush". The cushioning is soft, it's flexible right out of the box. If you're used to the rigid performance feel of the OG 11s, this air jordan 11 cmft low is a totally different, relaxed experience.
