If you prioritize cutting-edge, cloud-like comfort above all else, look at newer models. If you're on a tight budget, $225 is a lot. Also, if you're rough on your shoes, the patent leather might stress you out. It’s not a daily beater kind of shoe. In summary: The "AJ11 Cool Grey" delivers on its promise. Great materials, iconic look, comfortable enough. It’s not perfect (the break-in period is real!), but its strengths are huge. If you've ever wanted an 11, this is arguably the most wearable colorway ever made. A strong recommend from me. Comparing it to other Jordans – let's say an AJ1 – the feel is totally different. The Air Jordan 11 Cool Grey offers more contained support and a slightly higher off-the-ground feel. Versus an AJ4, the 11 feels more streamlined and court-ready. The full-length Air unit in the 11 gives a different kind of cushioning… it's more responsive than max Air, but maybe not as soft initially as something like a newer model. It's a unique experience.
