However, that patent leather mudguard can feel stiff initially and might press on the top of your foot—something to be aware of. Once broken in, it's fine. I'd say these are perfect for the style-conscious sneakerhead, but maybe not for someone seeking maximum comfort above all else. However— and this is real— the patent leather can be a bit stiff at first. It might crease in a specific way, which some collectors hate. Also, the outsole is a fingerprint magnet! If you like your kicks spotless, be prepared for constant wiping. The $225 price tag is steep, but for this iconic re-release, many will find it justified.
