Some people find it too stiff or 'plasticky' initially. It does break in, but if you prefer a super soft, flexible upper from day one, this might not be for you. Also, at $225 USD, it's a significant investment – you're paying for the legacy, not just the materials. Comparing it to other Jordans, like an AJ1 – the Air Jordan 11 Gamma is a totally different beast. It's less about a narrow, flat-footed feel and more about that higher-top, structured support. The full-length Air-Sole unit in the 11 is "way" more cushioned than an AJ1 midsole, no question. For all-day wear, the 11 Gamma is probably the more comfortable option. Final take? I love the Air Jordan 11 'Gamma Blue.' It’s a beautifully executed, unique take on a legend. The materials & construction justify the price for me. Just know the fit & break-in quirks. If you dig the colorway and respect the 11's legacy, this is an easy recommendation. What do you guys think? Walking around in these... you "notice" them. The way the light catches that patent leather is insane on camera. They have a real presence. Compared to, say, a Concord 11, the Gamma is way more subtle and versatile for daily fits. It’s a sneaker that makes an outfit look "considered", not just thrown on. A definite pro for style.
