Air jordan 11 low : Potential downside? Breathability [izrexd2w]

The materials on the "Air Jordan 11 Low", especially the patent leather, don't breathe much. If you're in a hot climate, your feet might get warm. Also, the icy outsoles... you know the deal. They'll yellow over time, so that's just part of the life cycle. Sliding these on... wow, the fit is snug right out of the box. The "Air Jordan 11 Low" has that structured feel – it's not a super-soft, modern knit. The carbon fiber shank plate gives great stability, a signature of the 11 model. Break-in is needed, but the lockdown is excellent once you get it laced up. Comparing it to other Jordan lows... The AJ11 Low has a distinct, structured feel compared to, say, an AJ1 Low, which is more flexible. The 11's silhouette is unique. Is it worth the $215 price tag? If you love the model and this colorway, absolutely. The craftsmanship and legacy justify it. But if you're just looking for any comfortable low-top, there are cheaper options. On foot now... and honestly, the comfort is "fine", not amazing. The cushioning feels a bit firm initially — you definitely feel that Carbon Fiber plate. The fit is true to size for me, with a nice, secure wrap. It's a low-top, so you get that ankle freedom. Compared to the high-top "Air Jordan 11", it's obviously less restrictive, but you lose some of that locked-in feel, you know?
