The feel is standard-issue excellent Jordan 11—great ankle support, classic bounce. But man, that purple patent leather… it’s something else in sunlight. Compared to a 'Bred' 11, it's less versatile but more eye-catching. Worth the $225? If you've been wanting a loud, well-made Jordan series release, absolutely. If not, maybe wait for a more neutral colorway. Major pros? The materials are top-notch. The patent leather is glossy and clean, the mesh is durable, and the icy blue outsole is a perfect touch. The colorway execution is nearly flawless. It’s a shoe that looks expensive – and it "is", at $225 – but the quality justifies the price tag for a collector or fan. On foot, the fit is classic AJ11 - "secure" and comfortable. The patent leather gives that structured feel around the midfoot. The full-length Air unit? It’s firm but responsive, great for all-day wear. They're not the lightest shoe, but you don't buy an 11 for a barefoot feel. The comfort is more about support than sinking into a cloud, which I actually prefer for casual use. So, should you cop? Ask yourself: do you wear purple? Will you actually put these on? If yes, this is a fantastic, high-quality example of a "Jordan series" classic done in a daring way. If you're on the fence because of the color, maybe wait. But for the right person, the "air jordan 11 purple rain" is an instant favorite.
