After wearing them for a bit, the "Air Jordan 11 Purple Rain" has grown on me "even more". The unique colorway "really" sets it apart in a sea of similar retros. Pros: "Top-tier" materials, iconic comfort, and head-turning design. Cons: The $225 investment is for the "look", not performance innovation. It's a "strong" B+ in my book for style. Slipping these on — the feel is premium. That's the thing about the Jordan 11; the build quality is consistent. The patent leather is stiff — as expected — but the inner sleeve and collar are plush. True to size for me, and the iconic silhouette... it just works. The 'Purple Rain' colorway really makes the design pop in a new way.
