The purple rain colorway is "incredibly" versatile. With black laces and that shiny patent leather, it's dressy. But with jeans? It's a perfect streetwear flex. The way the light hits the "air jordan 11" - especially the purple parts - is way cooler in person than in pictures. This "Jordan series" release has major camera appeal. On feet, walking around? They’re comfortable, but you feel the structure. It's a supportive, performance-bred feel, not a super-plush "sock-like" one. The traction is solid. Visually, they look long and sleek – the Air Jordan 11 has a way of making your feet look good, seriously. For performance? I wouldn't play serious ball in these—they're a lifestyle shoe through & through. The traction is fine for casual wear, but the focus is on style. The "biggest pro" is its uniqueness within the Jordan line. The "con" is its limited versatility in a wardrobe. You really have to "want" to wear purple to make these work. Compared to my other 11s, like the 'Cool Greys', this one has more personality. It's louder. The 'Purple Rain' name fits — it's a bold, almost electric purple. I'd put it in the same "special occasion" category as the 'Gratitudes', but way more colorful. If you have basic Jordan 11s and want something unique, this is it.
