It’s a shoe you buy for "love", not just for hooping. Alright, on feet now. The fit is true to size for me, with that snug, supportive feel the "11s" are known for. Comfort? It's good - not ultra-plush like some modern shoes, but the cushioning is "reliable" for all-day wear. Honestly, the "Air Jordan 11 "Purple Rain"" feels "exactly" like other Retros in this line... just wrapped in a "much" more adventurous color palette. On foot now, and wow— the comfort is "instantly" noticeable. The Air Jordan 11 platform is just... legendary for a reason. That full-length Air unit provides great cushioning for all-day wear. The fit is snug & supportive around the midfoot, true to size for me. Honestly, one of the best "out-of-the-box" feels in the entire Jordan series. Compared to my other 11s, like the 'Bred' or 'Cool Grey', this one stands out because of its material mix. The nubuck upper is softer to the touch than the usual patent leather. It's a nice change! The build quality feels consistent with the Jordan series heritage. However, that nubuck might be harder to clean - that's a real consideration for a daily wear shoe.
