The materials feel decent for the price point (around $190 USD), and I appreciate the icy blue outsole – it's a nice, subtle pop. The build quality seems solid right out of the gate. A great start for this Jordan series release! So, would I recommend it? "Yes", with clear expectations. Try it on if you can. Feel that "lighter" weight and flexibility. For a summer sneaker with "legendary" Jordan 11 DNA, the "Rare Air" executes its brief well. It’s a "functional" piece of the "Jordan series" history, adapted for all-day comfort. A "worthy" pick-up for the right wearer. On foot, the look is undeniably a Jordan 11, which is always a win. This "Rare Air" colorway is super versatile - white, black, that infrared hit. The lack of shiny patent leather actually makes it easier to wear casually, in my opinion. It tones down the flash just a bit. The carbon fiber shank plate is still there, providing that essential structure. It's a sleek, modern interpretation. HUGE pro for me: the durability. This full-grain leather on the "Air Jordan 11 Rare Air" is gonna hold up so much better than patent leather, which cracks. For someone who actually "wears" their shoes, that's a major win. The White/Metallic Silver colorway is also a dirt-magnet, but at least the material is easy to wipe down. It's a functional design choice I can really get behind.
