It lacks that classic color pop. Compared to a Jordan 1, the 4 is bulkier and less flexible. But that's also its charm—it has a distinct, chunky silhouette that makes a statement in a totally different, monochromatic way. Alright, so the box just arrived. First impression of the Air Jordan 4 'Black Cat'? It's "all" black, like, seriously stealthy. The nubuck feels super plush right out of the box. At $200 USD, you're paying for that premium, all-black Jordan 4 look. The silhouette is just iconic, man. A potential con? The breathability isn't great. Those plastic wing eyelets and the nubuck upper don't let much air in. Also, the outsole picks up dust like crazy. If you're in a hot climate, maybe think twice about these for summer. Comparing it to other 4s... it's lighter on foot than some of the heavier materials used on other retros. The "Air Jordan 4 Black Cat" feels more streamlined. Versus a Jordan 1 or 3, the 4 offers a chunkier, more technical look. This colorway, though, strips that back to pure form. It's less "sporty" and more "fashion-forward" in my opinion.
