If you're on a tight budget, $210 is a lot. Also, if you're rough on your shoes and hate maintenance, the light suede will stress you out. This isn't a daily beater; it's a special occasion or rotation piece. Alright, so the Air Jordan 4 RM 'Gamma Blue' just landed. First impression? The colorway is "crazy" vibrant in hand. That Gamma Blue suede is rich, and the contrast with the black netting and midsole is super clean. For $210, the materials feel solid right out of the box. The shape is classic 4, no complaints here. It's a statement shoe, for sure. Comparing it to my other 4s, the 'Gamma Blue' RM feels a tad lighter and the shape is a bit sleeker. The materials, especially that nubuck/suede, seem on par with recent Retro releases. Is it better than the OG 2013 Gamma Blues? That's a collector's debate. For a fresh pair in 2024, the quality here is impressive, especially for the $210 USD price point. No major glue stains or flaws on my pair. Potential con? That bright 'Gamma Blue' might be "too" loud for some people's style. It's not a subtle shoe. Also, the nubuck can be a bit of a magnet for dust and stains, so you gotta be mindful. It's a "head-turner," for better or worse.
