The leather and nubuck are softer, less plastic-y. The shape is also "slightly" more accurate to the originals. If you have an older retro, you'll feel the upgrade. Compared to a Jordan 1 or 3, the 4 RM still has that chunkier, more protective feel, which I personally "love". Comparing it to my regular Retro 4s? It's lighter on foot and the profile is slightly streamlined. The materials might be a bit more forgiving from the jump. It's not "better" or "worse", just a different option within the Jordan series. If you love the 4's style but want something a tad more contemporary, this is it. My final verdict? I'm really impressed. The Air Jordan 4 "Red Metallic" RM is a strong release. It looks fantastic on foot, the quality is there, and it's a versatile addition to any rotation. It's not the comfiest shoe ever, but that's not why you buy a Jordan 4. Let's talk looks on foot. This silhouette is just timeless. The "Air Jordan 4 RM" "Red Metallic" really pops in natural light. The mesh and leather combo works well. On camera, the details like the wing eyelets and the heel tab stand out. It's a shoe that looks great both in-hand and when you're actually wearing it.
