If you need cloud-like cushioning, this isn't it. Also, if you're on a tight budget, there are more affordable Jordan series options. And if you prefer low-tops or a more minimalist style, the chunkiness of the 4 might not be your thing. On the flip side, the Air Jordan 4 RM might "not" be for performance seekers or comfort-first buyers. If you need max cushioning, look elsewhere. Also, if you prefer super lightweight shoes, the 4's structure adds some heft. It's a lifestyle sneaker through and through. Major pro? The comfort upgrade. The updated cushioning setup in this Air Jordan 4 RM is noticeable. It's not ultra-plush, but it's a definite step up from the sometimes-stiff feel of retro 4s. For walking around or a casual shootaround, your feet will thank you. Jordan Brand listened on that front. Comparing it to my other Jordan 4s? The RM version has "noticeably" better materials. The leather and nubuck are softer, less plastic-y. The shape is also "slightly" more accurate to the originals. If you have an older retro, you'll feel the upgrade. Compared to a Jordan 1 or 3, the 4 RM still has that chunkier, more protective feel, which I personally "love".
