.. it's a different beast. The classic 4 is chunkier, more retro. This Air Jordan 4 RM is streamlined, almost like a performance model from the future. It's not better or worse, just a different interpretation. Think of it as a "what if" scenario for the Jordan line. Jordan Brand took a risk here, and I respect it. On feet, the design really shines. The mix of textures on this "Red Metallic" version—the nubuck, the mesh, the hits of grey—it all works together so well. In natural light, the colors are deep and rich. The Air Jordan 4 RM has a great presence; it's a statement sneaker without being too loud. It just looks "correct" with jeans or shorts. Let's talk looks. On camera and in person, this "Air Jordan 4 RM" just works. The simplified design removes some of the bulk, making it look sharper in my opinion. It keeps the iconic details like the mesh netting and wing eyelets but presents them in a fresher way. Compared to my regular 4s, it's a more modern, streamlined option that still gets those "nice kicks" nods. Now, a potential con: the comfort. If you're used to React or Zoom Air in modern sneakers, the Air Jordan 4 RM will feel stiff. The forefoot is pretty unforgiving. Also, the toe box can be tight for wider feet. It's not a "all-day walking" shoe for everyone. You're buying it for the style, not cloud-like comfort.
