Is the "Air Jordan Mid 1" worth it? At retail (~$135), yes—if you love the design. The quality is consistent for what it is. Just don't expect "remastered" OG quality. You're buying a piece of sneaker history in its most wearable form. I'm keeping these in my collection. On foot, they feel secure. The ankle support from the Mid collar is noticeable without being restrictive? It's a great balance. Visually, this "Shadow" colorway is super clean and goes with literally everything. For a classic sneaker from the Jordan series under $150, it's hard to argue with the value proposition here. Who might want to skip? If you're a hardcore OG silhouette collector "only" chasing Highs, this isn't it. If you need plush, modern cushioning for long walks, consider something with more tech.
