The Mid 1 is less hype than some Retros, easier to get, and often under $150. If you need a shoe that goes with everything and has that Jordan heritage? This is it. It's a no-brainer first Jordan for many. Comparing it to other Jordans... If you have a High, you don't "need" a Mid, but it's a different vibe. The "Air Jordan Mid 1" is easier to put on and off, for sure. It’s less of a statement, more of an everyday shoe. I find myself grabbing these for quick errands more often than my Highs. Still a great shoe for the money. Final thoughts? I genuinely like this shoe. The Air Jordan Mid 1 delivers that legendary design in a manageable package. It's not trying to be the most comfortable — it's trying to look cool and pay homage, which it does brilliantly. For the price point, it's a solid pick-up. Potential con? For some, the materials can feel a bit… basic compared to premium High OG releases. If you're a leather snob, you might be disappointed. Also, if you have wider feet, the break-in might be tougher. It's not a flaw, just something to know – the Air Jordan Mid 1 fits a standard, narrower last.
