The purple and black combo is subtle but deep. On foot, the lockdown is good, and the mid-top height offers a nice balance. Visually, it's less loud than some Retros, which I appreciate. Versus an AJ1 Low, it provides more ankle presence. The advantage is its wearability with almost any outfit. The potential drawback? It’s not a "comfort-first" model – the sole is firm. My take: For $125, it's a fantastic all-purpose sneaker for your rotation. Ideal for everyday style. Not the go-to for long walks or standing all day, in my honest opinion.
