I got the "White/University Red" colorway, & for $135 USD, the materials feel solid. The leather is decent, not super premium, but honestly? For a Mid, it's exactly what I expected. A great entry into the Jordan series, for sure. Potential con? That break-in period. The heel can be stiff at first - some people might find it rubs. Also, the cushioning is basic. If you're used to modern, plush sneakers, the feel of this Air Jordan Mid might surprise you. It's built more for style and heritage than all-day comfort, in my honest opinion. Final thought: who might want to skip the Air Jordan Mid 1? If you demand the highest level of cushioning tech, or if you "only" collect original High OG silhouettes, then maybe look elsewhere. But for 99% of people wanting a stylish, durable, and iconic sneaker? Yeah, this is a very easy recommendation from me. So, I just put these on. The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive.
