If you're used to modern, plush sneakers, the Air Jordan Mid 1 will feel "firm". There's a small Air unit in the heel, but it's not a "comfort-first" shoe. It's built on a 1985 blueprint! Also, the leather quality can vary by colorway. This one's decent, but don't expect super-supple tumbled leather on this specific release. Who might want to skip? If you're a hardcore OG silhouette collector "only" chasing Highs, this isn't it. If you need plush, modern cushioning for long walks, consider something with more tech. And if you dislike obvious creasing on the toe box, maybe look at a different material. Just my two cents! Sizing note: I went true to size, and it's perfect. The toe box has room, but the midfoot locks down. If you have wide feet, maybe consider half a size up? The materials on this "air jordan mid 1" won't stretch much. Trying them on is always best, but TTS is a safe bet for most. A reliable fit is a big plus in my book.
