The leather feels decent for the $125 price point, and that classic Mid silhouette is just "chef's kiss". It's a straightforward, clean Jordan 1, no crazy gimmicks. If you love the AJ1 look but want something a bit more accessible — price-wise and height-wise — than the Highs, this is a solid pick. On foot, the design really pops. The Mid cut is super versatile — it works perfectly with jeans or shorts. In natural light, the leather on this pair has a nice sheen. Compared to some recent Air Jordan 1 Lows, the Mid 1 feels a bit more substantial and 'complete' to me. It's a clean, everyday look. Putting these Air Jordan Mid 1s on feet... the fit is true to size for me. The ankle collar gives a nice, secure feel - it's not as restrictive as the Highs, which I actually prefer for everyday wear. The insole is pretty standard, so don't expect ultra-plush cushioning right out of the box. It's that familiar, supportive Jordan 1 feel. Comparing it directly to my Jordan 1 Highs… the main difference is the collar height, obviously. The Air Jordan Mid 1 offers a bit more everyday flexibility. You can wear it with more pant styles without the high-top bunching up. However, the materials on this Mid version often feel a step down from most retro High releases. It’s a trade-off for the lower price point, which is around $125 USD.
