Very underrated colorway—super easy to match. The quality is mid-tier, but that's the Mid's lane. Slip them on, and the cushioning is firm but not uncomfortable. Visually, the lower cut makes your legs look a bit longer—a nice style perk. The outsole grip is good for casual use. It's a great introductory shoe to the Jordan series. Probably not for someone who already owns multiple Jordan 1 Highs, unless you really dig the color. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book. Opening the box, this "Air Jordan Mid 1" ‘Dark Concord’ has a premium feel. The purple and black combo is subtle but deep. On foot, the lockdown is good, and the mid-top height offers a nice balance. Visually, it's less loud than some Retros, which I appreciate. Versus an AJ1 Low, it provides more ankle presence. The advantage is its wearability with almost any outfit. The potential drawback? It’s not a "comfort-first" model – the sole is firm. My take: For $125, it's a fantastic all-purpose sneaker for your rotation. Ideal for everyday style. Not the go-to for long walks or standing all day, in my honest opinion. Comparing this to the recent Jordan 1 Lows, the Mid offers a bit more "presence". The height feels just right — not too high, not too low. This particular "Shadow" colorway is super versatile; it's a "go-to" for almost any fit. Pro? Timeless design that never goes out of style. Con? The materials can be a bit stiff out of the box. They need a short break-in period.
