It's a shoe built more for style than supreme cushioning, which is totally fine, but you should know that going in. Honestly, I was curious about the comfort difference between Highs and Mids. After wearing these Air Jordan Mid 1s all day, I can say they're very similar — which means firm! Don't expect Boost or React. The advantage? That slightly lower collar gives a "tiny" bit more ankle mobility. If you have wider feet or just don't like a super-high top, the Mid is the move from the Jordan 1 series. From a style perspective, this shoe is a 10/10. The "Mid" height is actually perfect for showcasing your socks or just giving your silhouette a different look. Whether you're into streetwear or just classic jeans and a tee, this Air Jordan Mid 1 works. It's a design that simply doesn't go out of style. On foot now, & the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. The ankle collar on the "Jordan 1 Mid" provides a good lockdown. It's a firm ride, though—don't expect modern cushioning! For casual wear & style? Perfect. For all-day comfort? Maybe look elsewhere.
