.. the fit is TTS (true to size) for me. Immediate thoughts? The ankle collar provides nice support — more than a Low, less than a High. The cushioning is... well, it's an '85-inspired shoe, so don't expect Boost-level softness. It's firm but comfortable for all-day wear. The "overall" feel is classic, stable, & just "simple". From a pure style perspective, the Air Jordan 1 Mid "slays". I wore these with tapered sweats and the look was "clean". The design is so strong it elevates simple outfits. Performance-wise? It's a 1985 basketball shoe — treat it as such. Great for walking, not for running or hooping seriously. Ideal for the style-focused wearer who values heritage over hype. Who should skip these? If you prioritize ultimate comfort or need ankle support for sports, look elsewhere. Also, if you're a purest for OG Highs, you might never love the Mid's profile. But for style and heritage on a budget? It's hard to beat this model. Conversely, who should skip it? Hardcore comfort seekers, for sure. Also, if you're a purest for the original '85 High OG shape and details, the Mid’s proportions might feel off. And if you already have multiple similar colorways in the Jordan series, this might be a pass. It’s a fantastic shoe, but it doesn’t reinvent the wheel.
