Now, the real talk - potential cons. The cushioning is basic. If you're on your feet all day, this isn't your shoe. The leather quality can vary by colorway; some might feel a bit stiff. Also, as a "mid 1", it doesn't have the exact same cultural cachet as an OG High for some purists. It’s a classic, but know what you're getting: a heritage design, not modern tech. Unboxing this specific colorway was fun. The contrast between the white, black, and that hit of color is "chef's kiss". On foot, it's a head-turner. The build quality on my pair is good—no major glue stains or issues. For a Jordan 1 model that's easier to get, I'm impressed. It feels like a complete, classic sneaker. Comparing it to my Jordan 1 Highs... the Air Jordan Mid 1 is simply easier to live with daily. The Highs are more of a statement, but these Mids are just effortlessly cool and less of a hassle to put on and take off. For the price difference? That's a huge plus in my book.
