Con - basic, old-school cushioning. At the end of the day, the Air Jordan Mid 1 is a foundational sneaker. It won't blow your mind with tech, but it "will" consistently look good on your feet. That's my genuine take! On feet, the silhouette is just timeless. This Mid cut sits perfectly between a low and a high-top. I love how it looks with jeans or shorts. Comparing it to the OG High, you lose a bit of that classic profile, but you gain some everyday versatility — and often, a lower price point. For a daily driver in the Jordan series, this is a strong contender. Sliding these Air Jordan Mid 1s on... the fit is "true-to-size" for me. The ankle collar on the Mid is a "touch" lower than the OG Highs, which I actually prefer for daily wear—it's less restrictive! The cushioning? Let's be real, it's classic Jordan 1: firm & responsive, not plush. If you want cloud-like comfort, this isn't it. But for that court-feel & style? Unbeatable. So, I just put these on. The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. They're pretty light on foot, which I always appreciate. The insole is basic, so don't expect crazy cushioning... but for casual wear? They're perfectly comfortable right out of the box.
