The ankle support from the Mid collar is noticeable without being restrictive? It's a great balance. Visually, this "Shadow" colorway is super clean and goes with literally everything. For a classic sneaker from the Jordan series under $150, it's hard to argue with the value proposition here. Comparing it directly to other Jordans: it lacks the narrative of some OG Highs, but it's often more available. Versus a Jordan 1 Low? The Mid offers a bit more structure. It occupies its own great space in the lineup. You're getting the core DNA of the series. That's the real win here. So, I just put these on. The fit is true to size for me—nice and snug around the midfoot. The ankle collar on this "Mid" version gives a good amount of support without feeling restrictive. They're pretty light on foot, which I always appreciate. The insole is basic, so don't expect crazy cushioning... but for casual wear? They're perfectly comfortable right out of the box.
